What services do you offer?
UMovers is a student and student-athlete operated moving company that can tackle any task at hand! Our team specializes in, but is not limited to, loading, unloading, packing, unpacking, junk removal, local moving, and long-distance moving. If you need a labor service completed and it is not one of the ones mentioned above, don't hesitate to reach out and ask! Our men are flexible, smart, and ready to serve your every need.
What if I don't use up all the time I booked?
Unlike our competitors, UMovers charges an hourly labor rate that is not rounded up, so you can feel confident in scheduling a service that is fair and not overly stretched through a quote. If our movers finish before the time you had reserved, you are ONLY charged for the time they worked.
What if I don't know how many movers I need?
Similar to eating at an all-you-can-eat buffet, the strength of our men typically account for two people! With that said, we understand that selecting the appropriate number of movers for a move can be difficult when planning. Please reference the CONTACT US page and we will gladly provide our professional opinion! At the end of the day, we will make sure you are 100% satisfied with the service we provide, we can add or reduce the men needed after the appointment is scheduled, and WILL NOT charge you a cancellation fee.
Do you bring a truck with your labor services?
UMovers does not provide a truck with our labor services, however, you will have the option at checkout to select a truck for your move. If you select a truck, we will contact you beforehand to coordinate the size needed, and have an upfront cost before your booking date.
Do you offer packing and unpacking services?
Yes! We can handle all of your packing and unpacking needs to make your next local, long distance, or commercial move a breeze. When you hire packing and unpacking services with UMovers, you'll never have to lift a finger. We'll work with you to make sure everything is safely packed to your liking. All you have to do is point and let our men handle the rest!
Can you handle my long distance move? And does your pricing stay the same?
UMovers can absolutely handle your long distance move! UMovers offers fast, cheap, and safe long distance moving services that you can depend on. Our pricing will change for your long distance moves to make your move more affordable. We will gladly give you a free quote so you know what to expect on your big day, please reference the CONTACT US page to get started!
When can I schedule UMovers?
UMovers labor services are available Sunday through Saturday between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. If there is a holiday, event, or other scheduling conflict that would result in our men not being available, we will have that date and time blocked out on the calendar on the BOOK NOW page.
How do you accept payment? Will I have to pay upfront?
We will send you an invoice after the move is complete. You can pay the invoice with card or Paypal. We send the invoice after the move is complete so you only pay for the time actually used and any unused time is not charged.
Is my move confirmed when I complete the checkout process on your website?
After you complete your checkout through the UMovers quick and easy booking process, we immediately begin coordinating with our team. Due to various practice and class schedules, we assign the movers that are available at the date and time you requested, and for this reason, we cannot confirm your booking until we are positive that we have movers available. You will receive an email confirmation when your booking is confirmed. If rescheduling is necessary, we will contact you immediately.
