Did a cross-town move in Charlottesville, and the U-Movers team was fantastic. The movers were on-time, professional, courteous, and worked incredibly hard to make sure all of our items were handled with care and placed exactly where we wanted in the new house. As a bonus, the movers were also fun to chat with as we were moving items, making the moving process actually a fun experience. Five-stars all around, and I cannot recommend this service enough. UMovers are awesome!  Showed up on time, had the things moved out of our vehicles and up three flights of stairs in way less time than we had planned. Way easier than the year before when we moved daughter in ourselves.Very nice and so very polite.  They were really great to deal with, would highly recommend them.

We needed help with a few last minute things the day before we were listing our house for sale. Packing and moving boxes to garage and moving some other furniture around the house. Called UMovers and they got right back to me, and they had someone available on short notice. That person showed on time and worked for 3 hours alongside my husband, moving heavy things around. I am so grateful and will definitely call UMovers again.

I called UMovers last minute on a Friday morning hoping to find some help for a Saturday move after a family emergency left me short-handed. They were responsive in getting right back to me, had some of the best rates in town, and they truly saved the day. They sent over three guys from the wrestling team who were incredibly respectful, careful, and put in serious work on some heavy gym equipment and boxes that I wouldn't have been able to move on my own. I am planning to use them on another short move in the future, would highly recommend if you need some strong guys that will take care of getting the job done well!

Great service for a great price! I was in the process of moving and needed to have multiple heavy items moved to the 4th floor of an apartment building. I hired two guys for one hour, they arrived on time and moved the items quickly and carefully! They were very polite and even asked if there was anything else they could help move after they had moved the items I had hired them for as it did not take the full hour that I had booked.
